RC3 Road Test Driver’s Licence Scheduling Network

How It Works

How It Works

RC3 takes road test scheduling to a new level. It all starts with the broadcasting of availability by a driver examiner. This availability broadcast can be automated or managed on demand through the RC3 web portal or by using a mobile app specifically designed for driver examiners on the go.

The availability broadcast is received by a robust booking portal designed for testing centres to schedule road tests for clients who wish to book in person. An online road test booking website also receives the driver examiner’s availability broadcast so that the public can view, pay and schedule their road test online in a self-serve model.

A Little More Than Just A Scheduling System

More than just a road test booking tool, RC3 ensures that availability is used as efficiently as possible. In our case study for road testing in Alberta, RC3 was able to eliminate Alberta’s 65,000 back logged road tests by using the same number of driver examiners that existed in the predecessor’s booking system. This was accomplished by scheduling efficiencies built into RC3.

Randomization & anonymity are at the forefront of our booking algorithm and provide a great deal of accountability for all parties involved to ensure a fair and randomized client/driver examiner relationship. The degree of randomization can be customized to suit jurisdictional and organizational requirements.

Communications

Communications

The RC3 road test scheduling network can keep everyone in the loop in real-time using a combination of email and text messaging to keep both driver examiner and client informed of events such as a changes in schedule for the driver examiner or a reminder to a client for an upcoming road test.

Automated communications such as sending out the next day’s schedule and locations for driver examiners, or automatic cancellation and re-scheduling emails.

RC3 Analytics

RC3 Analytics

RC3 analytics provide a deep dive into a variety of valuable metrics on a granular scale. Report on driver examiner performance and volume, generated with real-time data. Financial data that reconciles with road testing performance and volume are just as robust.  The RC3 road test scheduling network also provides custom reporting that may be required for any jurisdiction. Development of additional analytics is included.

Online Public Access

Online Public Access

Our self-serve online access portal to book your driver’s licence test online can be customized according to your jurisdiction. Workflow and payment can be tailored to the specific needs of your province/state. We work with your Information Systems team from a technical perspective to integrate RC3 for a seamless transition, while planning work flow and recommending driver testing policies with directors and managers of service/transportation departments, based on our decades of experience in road test scheduling.

RC3

In the case study for road test scheduling using RC3 in Alberta, we established the online access portal AlbertaDriverExaminer.ca so that the public can access live road testing availability and pay for it at the same time. There’s even an option to add and pay for rental vehicles, as well as the rental of helmets, gloves, etc for motorcycle road tests. This creates additional financial opportunities for organizations that subscribe to the RC3 road test scheduling network.

We can also process payments on your behalf. Merchant fees aren’t a factor on your balance sheet when you subscribe to RC3. We can disburse funds at predetermined regular intervals, into multiple accounts.

Rental Vehicles

Rental Vehicles

Rental vehicles for driver’s licence road tests are available for individuals that do not have access to a vehicle at the time of their road test. RC3 can handle multiple vehicles and overlapping availability at each testing centre and can accommodate for different vehicles such as motorcycles, passenger vehicles, and commercial trucks and trailers.

RC3 includes reports on rental vehicle usage and profitability, so that you can determine the value of each vehicle, and adjust as necessary.

Upgrades & System Adjustments

Upgrades & System Adjustments

RC3 Road Test Scheduling Network can be adjusted to adhere to any business or government policies.

Work flow can be tailored to each jurisdiction’s rules and regulation. We work with all levels of government to achieve the most efficient & cost effective road test scheduling solution. We can provide permission level access to all parties involved dependent upon regional policies.

We also include system updates and/or upgrades within our networks so that sub-systems can be developed at no extra cost to tie into existing provincial/state database network of systems, ensuring a seamless transition with existing workflows.
